About

Our Introduction

Welcome to the Creek

There’s something about the woods, the water, the morning mist and gas station coffee that puts us in the mood to sit in an uncovered boat in 20-degree weather waiting for the chance to catch a trophy steelhead.

We love to fish, and we’re pretty good at it. Don’t worry, it’s not always cold. That being said, we have put the hours on the water to know what works, when it works, and where it works. And our passion is sharing that knowledge and experience with others. If you want to catch fish, we’re here for you. If you want to learn how to catch fish without us, we will give you the tools. If you just want a full-service guided boat and limits of fish, we can do that too. If not, we will humbly offer you 30% off your next trip.

Meet Your Guide

Nate Treat

Hi! My Name is Nate. I’ve been fishing since I was old enough to hold a rod. It’s my passion. Over the years, I’ve fished the lakes, creeks, rivers and ocean of the Pacific Northwest  with a lot of success. I’ve collected the knowledge and experience catching everything from pumpkin seed sunfish to the giant sturgeon of the Columbia.

But I found my true passion on the tributaries, fishing small water for big salmon and steelhead. About ten years ago I decided to devote my time to mastering these fisheries, and to take people along for the ride. My true passion is sharing the knowledge and excitement of drifting a small stream for these big fish with new anglers. But whether you’re a new angler, or a veteran, I always try to bring something new to the equation to make sure you have a great time.

Over time I’ve accrued the skills to call myself an expert fisherman. But I won’t lie and tell you I’m the best fisherman in the world. I feel like anyone who makes that claim has a lot to learn. I know I do. I learn something new on the river every day as a rule, and I add that knowledge to my arsenal of mental tackle to help you have a great day on the water.
